Job summary

PAPH TRAVEL AND TOURS is seeking a Data Analyst to investigate travel booking trends, operational performance, turnaround times, and customer experience metrics using SQL and data visualization tools.

The role involves building real-time dashboards in Power BI or Tableau, performing root cause analysis on recurring issues, and translating insights into measurable business improvements for travel vendors and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Tourism Management, or Business Analytics.
• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt required (Yellow Belt may be accepted for Associate/Junior).
• 2–5+ years in data analytics or process engineering within travel-focused organizations.
• Hands-on knowledge of GDS like Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo.
• Advanced SQL (PostgreSQL, BigQuery, or MySQL) for large transaction logs.
• Power BI or Tableau for automated reporting.
• MS Excel with pivot tables and statistical analysis; Python or R for SPC.

Responsibilities

• Process & operational data analysis to extract trends and bottlenecks.
• Apply Six Sigma DMAIC to drive continuous improvements.
• Design real-time dashboards tracking KPIs (C per Transaction, NPS, SLA).
• Perform RCA on booking failures, GDS errors, and customer complaints.
• Analyze airline and hotel data to optimize supplier contracts and costs.
• Report insights to country managers and corporate clients.
