Job Description: The Training Officer/Trainer will design, implement, and oversee training programs for staff across locations or teams. This role ensures that employees have the skills and knowledge needed for customer service, sales, product knowledge, and adherence to company policies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver training programs
• Conduct training sessions and coach staff to ensure consistent training delivery
• Assess training needs and evaluate program effectiveness, making improvements as needed
• Collaborate with HR and Operations to align training with company goals
• Create training modules, curricula, and materials; maintain training records and reports
• Conduct onboarding for new hires and provide ongoing coaching
• Evaluate training impact using levels of evaluation and performance metrics
• Ensure compliance with company rules and audit findings related to training
• Stay current with training best practices and tools (e-learning, LMS, knowledge bases)
• Support a culture of learning and improve overall staff performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Education, Business, Organizational Development, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in training, facilitation, or instructional design; experience in retail, BPO, or similar environments is a plus
• Strong facilitation, presentation, and communication skills
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and training evaluation methods
• Proficiency with MS Office and familiarity with LMS/ instructional design tools
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; willingness to travel if required
