Job summary

The Unconventional is seeking a qualified Training Curriculum/Course Developer to support the SOCPAC with critical, non-standard logistical gaps in expeditionary and contested environments for USINDOPACOM, including directorates and mission partners.

Responsibilities include developing curricula, lesson plans, courseware, and evaluation materials; aligning materials to operational systems and partner needs; supporting global classroom, distance learning, and native-language materials; and

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • 7+ years developing instructional materials, curricula, and courseware.
  • ATD Instructional Design Certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develops training curricula, lesson plans, courseware, evaluation materials, and instructional products for systems, platforms, and mission operations
  • Aligns materials to operational systems training, maintainer and operator interfaces, partner-nation needs, normal and degraded modes, and global delivery settings
  • Supports global classroom, on-the-job, and distance learning; training materials, demonstrations, exercises, operational systems training, mission training, partner-nation documentation, and tailored native-language support
  • Supports Training, Exercises, and Experimentation function

Summary

The Unconventional is seeking a qualified Training Curriculum/Course Developer to support the Special Operations Command Pacific (SOCPAC) with critical, non‑standard logistical gaps in expeditionary and contested environments for USINDOPACOM, including directorates, subordinate unified commands, component commands, direct reporting units, standing joint task forces, and mission partners.

Responsibilities
  • Develops training curricula, lesson plans, courseware, evaluation materials, and instructional products for systems, platforms, and mission operations
  • Aligns materials to operational systems training, maintainer and operator interfaces, partner‑nation needs, normal and degraded modes, and global delivery settings
  • Supports global classroom, on‑the‑job, and distance learning; training materials, demonstrations, exercises, operational systems training, mission training, partner‑nation documentation, and tailored native‑language support
  • Supports Training, Exercises, and Experimentation function
Requirements
  • Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree
  • Must possess 7 years relevant professional experience performing activities such as developing instructional materials, curricula, lesson plans, and courseware, analyzing training needs and learning objectives, integrating current technology into instruction, supporting classroom, distance, and on‑the‑job training, and evaluating and improving training effectiveness
  • ATD Instructional Design Certificate (preferred)

Clearance: Must possess an active Top Secret security clearance

Location: Brisbane, Australia / Hagatna, Guam / Japan / Camp Humphries, Korea / Quezon City, Philippines / Singapore

Travel: Some travel will be required
