Job summary

Golden Renal Care Holdings Inc. is seeking an entry‑level Registered Nurse trainee for a structured onboarding and clinical practicum to achieve full hemodialysis competency. You will work under a preceptor/senior nurse to learn HD procedures, infection prevention, and patient care protocols, completing the DOH-accredited HD nurse program.

You will assist with HD station setup, patient prep, and monitoring; maintain clear documentation and uphold safety standards under supervision.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from a CHED-accredited institution.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) with current PRC license.
  • Enrolled in or recently completed a DOH-accredited Hemodialysis Nurse Training Program (min 480 hours).
  • Current Intravenous Therapy (IVT) certification.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ACLS preferred or to be obtained within six months.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing HD stations, priming and disinfecting machines, and setting up consumables under supervision.
  • Support pre- and post-dialysis patient preparation, including verifying patient identity, weight, and vital signs.
  • Observe and assist in initiation, monitoring, and termination of HD sessions per physician orders and safety protocols.
  • Learn vascular access care (AVF, AVG, CVC) under supervision.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in patient treatment sheets and logs.
  • Adhere to infection prevention, PPE, aseptic technique and waste segregation.

About the role

Entry-level registered nurse undergoing structured onboarding and clinical practicum to achieve full hemodialysis (HD) competency. Works under direct supervision of a preceptor or Senior HD Nurse to learn HD procedures, infection prevention, and patient care protocols. Completes DOH-accredited hemodialysis training and internal competency validation prior to transition to Junior HD Nurse Trainee.



Key responsibilities


  • Assist in preparing HD stations, priming and disinfecting machines, and setting up consumables under supervision.


  • Support pre- and post-dialysis patient preparation, including verifying patient identity, weight, and vital signs.


  • Observe and assist in initiation, monitoring, and termination of HD sessions in accordance with physician orders and safety protocols.


  • Learn and apply basic principles of vascular access care (AVF, AVG, CVC) under direct supervision.


  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient treatment sheets and logs, ensuring legibility and completeness.


  • Adhere to infection prevention and control standards, including use of PPE, aseptic technique, and waste segregation.


  • Participate in machine cleaning and disinfection, RO system awareness sessions, and routine maintenance checks with the biomedical team.


  • Observe and learn emergency response protocols (e.g., hypotension, air embolism, cardiac arrest) and participate in drills.


  • Uphold patient privacy, dignity, and safety in all clinical interactions, demonstrating empathy and professionalism.


  • Attend all required classroom, simulation, and clinical training sessions to complete the DOH-accredited HD nurse program.




About you


  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from a CHED-accredited institution.


  • Registered Nurse (RN) with current and valid Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) license.


  • Enrolled in or recently completed a DOH-accredited Hemodialysis Nurse Training Program (minimum 480 hours).


  • Current Intravenous Therapy (IVT) certification accredited by the Department of Health.


  • Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred or to be obtained within the first six months.
