Infineon Technology in Bengaluru seeks a Trainee Specialist – Hardware Engineer to design and test MCU evaluation kits, schematic designs, and reference designs. You will bring up MCU boards and troubleshoot hardware/software issues, while collaborating with software/firmware teams to ensure seamless integration.

The role emphasizes documentation, design reviews, and staying current with industry trends to improve reference designs and development processes.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering.
1–3 years hardware design and development experience.
Proficient in Cadence schematic tools (OrCAD/Allegro).
Strong knowledge of digital/analog circuit design.

Responsibilities

Design and develop evaluation kits and reference designs for new MCUs, including schematic design and prototype testing.
Design schematic using Cadence, ensuring compliance with standards and specifications.
Bring up and test MCU boards; debug hardware and software issues.
Collaborate with software/firmware/system teams for integration of evaluation kits.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, datasheets and test reports.
Participate in design reviews to ensure high-quality design and reliability.
