Overview
The trade marketing specialist is responsible for bridging the gap between sales and marketing by ensuring that all marketing strategies and activities are effectively executed at the retail/trade level which will help increase product visibility, brand presence and product off-take.
Responsibilities
- Regularly reports to Brand Manager/Marketing Manager the effectiveness and efficiency of the marketing promotion plans and activities.
- Regularly coordinates with the Sales team in conducting geographical market analysis to ensure strategic market presence and assists in conducting feasibility studies for potential expansion in key areas
- Creation of planogram and monitor implementation
- Directly supervises the Third-Party Agency to ensure that all directives related to store look/branding are fully complied with at the trade level and end-consumer promo implementations are followed
- Monitor competitor activities, trends, trade performance, and prepares appropriate report/s of the assigned channel to ensure efficient business contribution per business partner
- Monitor promotional and merchandising budget through appropriate allocation, accurate projection, complete and on-time actualization
- Ensures that national consumer promotions, activities, and programs are closely monitored, executed within budget and the intended time frame, and produces the results needed based on agreed key metrics
- Handles other tasks that may be assigned from time-to-time
Qualifications
- Must have a Bachelor's or College degree in Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or any related field
- At least three (3) years' work experience in Trade Marketing-related environment
- Adept in Merchandising, Local Store Marketing, Trade Marketing, Activation, and Below-The-Line Marketing activities
- With active driver's license and can drive four-wheel vehicle
- Must be willing to do fieldwork
