Job summary

JPMorganChase & Co. is seeking a Supervisor, Managed Funds Operations in Taguig City to lead the day-to-day custody operations for pooled vehicles and funds.

You will ensure accurate processing, strong controls, and timely client servicing while developing a team of operations professionals. You will collaborate with partners to deliver a high-quality client experience, resolve exceptions quickly, and drive improvements in processes through standardization and automation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
• 4 years of custody or related financial operations experience.
• 1 year of leading or coordinating work for a team.
• Knowledge of custody processes including settlement and reconciliations.
• Strong risk and control mindset with adherence to procedures.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily custody processing activities including settlement, asset servicing, income processing, tax processing, reconciliations, and related tasks.
• Monitor queues, allocate tasks, and balance capacity for peak volumes and holidays.
• Review and authorize transactions within approved authority and procedures.
• Investigate exceptions, breaks, and client inquiries within SLAs.
• Maintain accurate processing and escalation routines per procedures and SLAs.
• Identify risks and remediation opportunities in processes and controls.
• Support audits and regulatory examinations with timely evidence.
• Drive reconciliation discipline and timely clearance of aged items.
• Collaborate with client service and operations to ensure a consistent client experience.
• Contribute to process improvement through standardization and automation ideas.

As a Supervisor, Managed Funds Operations in Managed Funds Operations, you lead day-to-day custody operations supporting managed funds and other pooled investment vehicles. You help ensure transactions are processed accurately, on time, and with strong controls, while developing a team of operations professionals. You collaborate with partners to deliver responsive client servicing and continuous process improvement.

Job responsibilities

• Lead daily team execution of custody processing activities, including settlement, asset servicing, income processing, tax processing, reconciliations, and related servicing tasks
• Monitor work queues, allocate tasks, and balance capacity to maintain coverage during peak volumes, absences, and holidays
• Review and authorize transactions and adjustments within approved authority limits and control procedures
• Investigate and resolve exceptions, breaks, fails, and client inquiries within agreed timelines
• Maintain accurate processing and escalation routines aligned to documented procedures and service level agreements (SLAs)
• Identify, elevate, and help remediate operational risks, control gaps, and recurring processing issues
• Support internal audits, risk reviews, and regulatory examinations by preparing clear evidence and timely responses
• Drive disciplined reconciliation practices, including timely clearance of aged or outstanding items
• Partner with client service, relationship management, and operations stakeholders to deliver a consistent client experience
• Contribute to process improvement through standardization, automation ideas, and support for change initiatives, enhancements, or migrations

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• 4 years of experience in custody, fund operations, securities services operations, or a related financial operations environment
• 1 year of experience leading, coaching, or coordinating work for a team in an operations setting
• Knowledge of custody operating processes, including settlement, corporate actions, income processing, and reconciliations
• Understanding of managed fund and pooled investment vehicle structures and operational requirements
• Demonstrated risk and control mindset, including the ability to follow procedures, identify issues, and elevate appropriately
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a high-volume environment
• Clear written and verbal communication skills to handle stakeholder coordination and client-related inquiries

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

• Experience using industry messaging and processing platforms (e.g., SWIFT) and custody or sub-custody platforms
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements relevant to custody services and managed funds within the applicable jurisdiction(s)
• Professional certifications in investment operations or securities-related fields
• Experience supporting process improvement initiatives, including automation and standardization
• Experience monitoring service quality measures and implementing corrective actions

Developing experience using AI-powered analytics, workflow automation, or intelligent process tools to drive efficiency gains, reduce manual effort, or improve accuracy in operational processes.
