Job summary

MD Gruppe in Imus, Cavite is seeking a reliable assistant TIG welder helper. You will assist the welder in setting up welding equipment, preparing materials, and ensuring safety protocols are followed on site.

Responsibilities include cleaning surfaces before welding, holding and clamping workpieces, and aiding in loading and unloading materials. A high school diploma or vocational training is preferred, with familiarity in SMAW, MIG, and TIG advantageous.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with basic welding processes (SMAW, MIG, TIG).
• Knowledge of welding tools and equipment.
• High school diploma or vocational/technical training is required or preferred.

• Clean and prepare metal surfaces before welding.
• Hold, position, or clamp workpieces during welding.
• Carry and organize tools, filler rods, and parts needed for the welder.
• Maintain cleanliness of the work area and equipment.
• Monitor safety procedures and ensure use of proper PPE.
• Perform post-weld cleaning such as grinding or polishing if required.
• Follow all instructions from welder or supervisor precisely.
• Support in loading/unloading materials or moving fabricated parts.
