Job summary

Manila Kitchens is seeking a skilled Metal Fabrication Technician with at least 1 year of TIG welding experience to join our on-site team in Cabuyao, Laguna. You will read blueprints, fabricate parts, and ensure high-quality welds for kitchen projects.

Proficiency in stainless steel welding and fabrication, plus the ability to work with various hand and power tools, is required. Welding NC II certification is an advantage, and safety PPE must be observed on site.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of TIG welding and metal fabrication experience.
• Knowledgeable in stainless steel welding and fabrication.
• Able to read and follow basic measurements and fabrication drawings.
• Familiar with welding tools, equipment, and safety procedures.
• Welding NC II certification is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Grind, file, or sand surfaces of metal items using handtools and power tools.
• Remove dents and fill uneven surfaces with solder.
• Smooth surface of item to specified finish using hand and powered tools.
• Polish metal surface with polishing wheel or belt.
• Examine surface for defects such as dents or scratches.
• Create parts from blueprints or shop drawings.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions and keep equipment in good condition.
• Wear PPE and observe safety policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by superiors.

Key responsibilities

• Grind, file, or sand surfaces of metal items, using handtools, power tools, and knowledge of metal finishing techniques

• Remove dents, using hammer and dolly block, and fill uneven surfaces with molten solder

• Smooth surface of item to specified finish, using hand tools and powered tools

• Polish metal surface, using powered polishing wheel or belt

• Examine and feel the surface of metal to detect defects, such as dents, scratches, or breaks in metal

• Create parts and components from blueprints or shop drawings

• Troubleshoot malfunctions and keep equipment in good condition

• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and observe safety policies

• Perform other duties as assigned by the superior or management

About you

• At least 1 year of experience in TIG welding and metal fabrication

• Knowledgeable in stainless steel welding and fabrication

• Skilled in cutting, grinding, fitting, and basic metal fabrication

• Able to read and follow basic measurements and fabrication drawings

• Familiar with welding tools, equipment, and safety procedures

• Can produce clean and quality welds

• Welding NC II or related certification is an advantage

• Willing to work on-site in Cabuyao, Laguna
