Job summary

Qualifications

• Foundational experience or training in software engineering, backend development, or AI/ML-related development.
• Basic experience with Python for backend or AI-related development.
• Basic experience with Java for backend or enterprise applications.
• Foundational understanding of RESTful APIs, databases, and version control using Git.
• Exposure to AI and machine learning concepts, including LLMs or prompt engineering, is a plus.

We are looking for a Junior Software Engineer – Java/Python/AI to support the development of backend systems and AI-enabled applications. This role is ideal for someone building hands-on experience in software engineering, backend development, and applied AI while working under clear technical direction and guidance from more experienced engineers.

The Junior Software Engineer will focus on technical execution: completing clearly defined tasks, writing clean and maintainable code, learning established development patterns, and collaborating with the team to deliver reliable software features.

TierTwelve Team for special education services, working with School districts to provide custom solutions for early identification where students need assistance in education.

Job Qualifications
