Job summary

Teladoc Health, Inc. is seeking a Tier 2 Cyber Security Operations Analyst to analyze complex security incidents and lead investigations in a fast-paced SOC.

You will mentor Tier 1 analysts, refine detection rules, and collaborate with threat intel and IT teams to remediate threats effectively. The role requires strong technical depth in networking, operating systems, cloud security, and scripting, with a focus on rapid containment and coordinated response.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• 4–7 years of cybersecurity experience, preferably in a SOC environment or Tier 1 context.
• Hands-on incident response experience is essential.

Responsibilities

• Investigate escalated security incidents from Tier 1 and perform root cause analysis.
• Contain, eradicate, and recover from incidents; apply security patches as needed.
• Proactively hunt threats using SIEM/EDR/XDR tools and analyze IoCs/TTPS.
• Configure and tune security tools; develop SIEM rules and dashboards.
• Document incidents and prepare post-incident reviews; support SOPs.
