Job summary

onsemi is seeking a Line Maintenance Technician to sustain equipment in the assigned area and support manufacturing requirements. This role emphasizes hands-on maintenance, preventive tasks, and collaboration with the production team.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in semiconductor equipment maintenance and strong skills in hydraulics, PLCs, and electrical/electronic diagrams, with solid communication abilities to mentor operators.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a 2-3 year technology program with at least 1 year experience as Line Maintenance Technician in a semiconductor company.
• At least 2 years direct experience as Line or Equipment Technician in a semiconductor company.
• Hands-on experience with hydraulics, servomotors, pumps, sensors, motor controls and PLC.
• Ability to read electrical/electronic diagrams and mechanical drawings.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain good housekeeping and safety practices in the assigned area.
• Provide manufacturing line support for the equipment platform and area.
• Assist in new equipment setup and resolution of major equipment problems.
• Contribute to preventive maintenance schedules, checklists, and specifications.
• Generate and maintain shift status reports.

Responsible for equipment sustenance activities for equipment in assigned area.

Responsibilities

• Maintain good housekeeping and good practice of safety protocols in assigned area.
• Perform other functions to support manufacturing requirements.
• Assists in new equipment setup, resolution of major equipment problems and equipment restoration.
• Assists in the development of projects to improve equipment performance, prolong life of parts, and management of spares.
• Assists in the development of preventive maintenance schedule, procedure, checklists, buy-off and specifications.
• Assists in the analysis and resolution of customer issues.
• Mentors’ production operator and assists in skills-up training and certification.
• Provide manufacturing line support in assigned equipment platform and area.
• Assist Line Maintenance Engineer to gather information, data, and necessary documents for analysis.
• Assists in the resolution of major equipment problems.
• Generate and maintain shift status report/update.

Qualifications

Education

• Graduate of 2-3-year Technology course with at least one (1) year experience as Line Maintenance Technician in a Semiconductor company.

Experience

• At least 2 years direct experience in Line or Equipment Technician in a semiconductor company.

Skills

• Hands-on experience in hydraulics, servomotors, pumps, sensors, motor controls, Electro-pneumatics, and PLC.
• Proper use of hand tools, measuring and calibration instruments
• Can read and interpret electrical & electronics diagrams, mechanical drawings.
• Good communication skills.
