Job Summary:

The Test Manager should have a strong background in Core Banking Systems to lead and execute Functional and Non-Functional Testing activities. They should have in-depth knowledge of banking products and processes, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to deliver high-quality testing services in a fast-paced environment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Functional Testing:

• Analyzes business requirements, functional specifications, and technical documents to develop test plans and cases.

• Executes end-to-end functional testing across modules such as Accounts, Loans, Deposits, Payments, Standing Instructions, and GL.

• Validates business rules, data accuracy, transaction flows, and integrations with surrounding systems (e.g., Channels, Treasury, CRM).

• Supports SIT (System Integration Testing), UAT (User Acceptance Testing), and Regression testing cycles.

• Works closely with business users, developers, and analysts to ensure test coverage and traceability.

• Log, track, and retest defects using tools like JIRA, ALM, or TestRail.

Non-Functional Testing:

• Coordinates and executes Performance, Load, Stress, Security, and Availability testing for the Core Banking platform.

• Defines NFR test strategies in collaboration with infrastructure and security teams.

• Uses tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or Neoload to simulate and monitor system performance under varying loads.

• Participates in Disaster Recovery (DR) and High Availability (HA) testing.

• Provides detailed analysis and reporting of system behavior against SLAs and thresholds.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

Related Work Experience - 10+ years of QA experience

• Proven experience in Core Banking Systems (e.g., Temenos, Finacle, Flexcube, T24)

• Proven exposure to regulatory and compliance testing in banking environments.

• Experience in core banking migration projects.

Knowledge:

• Strong understanding of Retail, Corporate, Loans, Treasury, and Payments domains.

• SQL proficiency for validating data across banking databases.

• Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery models common in banking projects.

• Experience in integrating third-party and cloud service libraries for banking systems.

• ISTQB or equivalent certification is preferred.

• Exposure to automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines is an advantage.
