Job summary

Acbel PolyTech (Phils.), Inc. seeks a Test Engineering Supervisor to lead the Test Engineering team in Laguna, driving efficient testing, quality assurance, and equipment reliability. The role covers supervising engineers and technicians, developing ATE software, and ensuring alignment with customer specifications.

You will coordinate with Taiwan R&D and Firmware teams to implement new testing solutions, maintain ATE systems, and push continuous improvement in test methods and MES integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of four years in Test Engineering, Automation, or ATE software development.
• 1–2 years of supervisory or team-lead experience.
• Experience developing engineering software using LabVIEW and/or Visual Basic.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise Test Engineers and Technicians in the development and support of ATE software solutions.
• Develop, maintain, and improve Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) applications for calibration, functional testing, monitoring, and data logging.
• Coordinate with Taiwan R&D and Firmware Engineering teams to implement new testing solutions at Laguna facility.
• Support maintenance, troubleshooting, software upgrades, and administration of ATE systems.
• Ensure test systems meet customer specifications, quality requirements, and manufacturing standards.
• Provide technical guidance, coaching, and performance management for the Test Engineering team.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for test processes, equipment reliability, and production efficiency.

About the Role

Acbel PolyTech (Phils.), Inc. is seeking a Test Engineering Supervisor to lead the Test Engineering team in ensuring efficient testing processes, product quality, equipment reliability, and continuous improvement within our manufacturing operations.

What you\'ll be doing:

• Lead and supervise Test Engineers and Technicians in the development and support of ATE software solutions.

• Develop, maintain, and improve Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) applications for:

  • Calibration and functional testing

  • Monitoring and diagnostic testing

  • VPD (Virtual Product Data) write/read functions

  • Customer-specific test customization

  • Data logging, MES interface, and automation handshake

• Coordinate closely with Taiwan R&D and Firmware Engineering teams to acquire technical knowledge and implement new testing solutions in the Laguna manufacturing facility.

• Support the maintenance, troubleshooting, software upgrades, and administration of existing ATE systems.

• Ensure test systems meet customer specifications, quality requirements, and manufacturing standards.

• Provide technical guidance, coaching, and performance management for the Test Engineering team.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for test processes, equipment reliability, and production efficiency.

What we\'re looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.

• Minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience in Test Engineering, Automation, or ATE software development.

• At least one (1) to two (2) years of experience supervising or leading Engineers and Technicians.

• Proven experience developing engineering software using LabVIEW and/or Visual Basic.

• Experience with programming languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, or Delphi is an advantage.

• Strong understanding of Server Power Supply.

• Strong understanding of digital and analog electronics.

• Knowledge of hardware design, hardware debugging, and embedded MCU programming.

• Familiarity with communication protocols including RS-232, GPIB, and I²C.

• Experience integrating ATE with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), databases, and automation systems is an advantage.

• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with overseas engineering teams.

• Willingness to travel internationally, including Taiwan, for technical training and knowledge transfer as required.
