Job summary

Teradyne Inc. in Cebu, Philippines seeks a Quality Assurance professional to lead structured RCA, CAPA, and DOE-driven improvements across electronics test platforms.

You will diagnose complex ATE failures, analyze logs and repair histories, and collaborate cross-functionally to drive corrective actions, improve test coverage, and ensure timely escalation when needed. Strong background in RCA, CAPA, and quality tools is required to meet customer expectations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electronics and Communications Engineering or equivalent.
• Diagnoses complex ATE failures at system and board level using data analysis.
• Strong sense of urgency and ownership across all levels of the organization.
• Proficient with problem-solving and quality tools (8D, 5-Why, Ishikawa, Pareto, FMEA).
• Excellent written and verbal communication for technical reports.

Responsibilities

• Conduct root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Monitor and reduce DOA, WARR, and NFF using failure/repair data.
• Analyze test logs and repair history to improve troubleshooting effectiveness.
• Develop and improve diagnostic methods, test coverage, and documentation.
• Own complex repair cases through resolution and escalate when needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve customer escalations.
• Drive RCA and CAPA implementations to resolve issues and prevent recurrence.
• Generate status reports on quality performance and project updates.

Opportunity Overview

This person will champion product excellence by crafting and executing innovative quality assurance protocols that elevate industry standards and delight customer through:

• Conduct structured root-cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions to avoid recurrence.
• Drive quality performance by monitoring and reducing DOA, WARR, and NFF, using failure and repair data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Analyze test logs, schematics, failure trends, and repair history to improve troubleshooting effectiveness.
• Develop and improve diagnostic methods, test coverage, repair processes, and technical documentation.
• Own complex repair cases through resolution and ensure proper escalation when higher-level engineering or factory support is required.
• Collaborate and engage with cross functional teams for the timely and effective resolution of customer/ escalations
• Drives the implementation of effective Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) to resolve issues and prevent recurrence.
• Generates timely reports on status of quality performance, resolution of issues/escalations, projects and updates on other tasks as assigned

• Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Electronics and Communications Engineering or equivalent courses
• Diagnoses complex ATE failures at system and board level, using in-depth knowledge of products and test platforms along with data analysis and diagnostic tools.
• Must have strong sense of urgency and ownership, and works effectively with all levels of the organization, from technicians to management.
• Must have proficient in problem-solving and quality tools such as 8D, 5-Why, fishbone (Ishikawa), Pareto analysis and FMEA.
• Must have good written and verbal communication skills for preparing technical reports and presenting findings.
• Experience in conducting audits using a process-based approach is a plus
• AI and Automation Literate is a plus
