Job summary

Capgemini is seeking an experienced test automation engineer to design, build and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright and/or Katalon Studio. You will automate web, API, integration and regression tests across CMS and banking applications, working with cross-functional teams to maximize regression coverage.

You will validate REST APIs, use SQL for data checks, and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines while supporting SIT/UAT and release validation with automated regression suites.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in test automation engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright and/or Katalon Studio (or Selenium).
• Experience developing automation frameworks and regression suites.
• Knowledge of UI and API automation and integration testing.
• Experience validating REST APIs and service integrations.
• SQL for backend data validation.
• Familiarity with Git-based source control and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with JIRA, Azure DevOps, ALM or similar tools.
• Strong debugging and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain automation frameworks and scripts using Playwright, Katalon or Selenium.
• Automate tests across CMS, bank apps, digital channels and third-party interfaces.
• Collaborate with functional teams to identify automation candidates and boost regression coverage.
• Automate Visa certification test scenarios where feasible and reusable.
• Validate API integrations, batch interfaces and file exchanges.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD and support continuous testing.
• Prepare automation execution reports and quality dashboards.
• Support SIT, UAT and release validation with automated regression tests.
