Job summary

GlaxoSmithKline in the Philippines seeks a field-based Sales Specialist to partner with healthcare professionals across the territory. You will build evidence-based relationships and use local insight to improve patient access and care.

You will collaborate with medical, marketing, access and supply teams to achieve territory objectives, maintain compliant records, and travel across the assigned area as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, pharmacy, nursing or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in pharmaceutical sales, healthcare field sales, or a similar customer-facing healthcare role.
• Clear communication skills in English and Filipino to support patient-focused discussions.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel across the assigned territory.
• Proficiency with common digital tools and CRM systems for planning, reporting and insight generation.
• Commitment to follow local laws, industry codes and company policies in all interactions.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain professional relationships with doctors, pharmacists and other local healthcare stakeholders through regular in-person and digital engagement.
• Use scientific knowledge and local treatment guidance to make patient-focused recommendations to healthcare professionals.
• Develop and execute territory plans using data and customer insight to prioritise visits and opportunities.
• Deliver sales and service objectives while tracking performance and adjusting plans as needed.
• Work with cross-functional colleagues to ensure patients benefit from appropriate care and a consistent customer experience.
• Keep accurate records, follow local laws and company standards, and manage samples, expenses and inventory responsibly.
