Job summary

The Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine at Nanyang Technological University invites applications for a tenure-track Associate/Assistant Professor of Microbiome. Qualifications

• MBBS/MD and/or PhD degree(s).
• Postdoctoral or clinical experience.
• Translational clinical research and teaching with high scientific achievement.
• Experience with human microbiome and metagenomic data is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Undertake high quality research in microbiology focused on microbiome or microbial bioinformatics.
• Teach medical students and postgraduate researchers using team-based learning and digital tools.
• Integrate microbiology into the MBBS curriculum and ensure teaching excellence.
• Lead and mentor junior faculty and research staff, and secure research funding.
