Job summary

Asticom Technology Inc. is seeking a Telecommunications Engineer in Metro Manila to lead project coordination, field support, and transport network optimization.

The role involves coordinating across internal teams, vendors, and clients to ensure successful Facility Implementation Orders and on-site site surveys. The candidate should have a 2+ years track record in telecom engineering and transport networks, with fundamentals in Python, SQL, and data analytics for reporting and health

Qualifications

• Graduate in Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE).
• Minimum of 2 years of proven telecom engineering and transport network operations experience.
• Fundamentals in Python, SQL, and Data Analytics for reporting and network health dashboards.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Willingness to work beyond standard office hours for field operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead internal project meetings to ensure deliverables and client commitments are met.
• Coordinate across internal teams, external domains, vendors, and clients for Facility Implementation Orders.
• Provide monitoring and on-site support for fieldwork, site audits, TSSR, card insertions, patching, DF/FOC, AN Integration, and Microwave implementations.
• Create and issue Engineering Work Plans (EWP), Service Orders (SO), and Methods of Procedure (MOP) through to NOC implementation.
• Prepare document packages for fieldwork and fulfill acceptance requirements.
• Maintain and update transport network diagrams, topology maps, dashboards, and utilization records.
• Perform transport network assessments, health checks, and capacity planning (bandwidth, latency, architecture).
• Execute IP allocations and IP clock assignments for 2G, 3G, LTE infrastructure.
• Support network optimization, software updates, and overall transport network performance.
• Diagnose, log, and troubleshoot network configuration, hardware, and account setup issues.
• Escalate unresolved technical matters to tier-3 and track resolution through to completion.
