Job summary

Ericsson Telecommunications Inc. is seeking a knowledgeable Support Engineer to operate and support Ericsson NFVI and CNIS platforms across production, pre-production, and lab environments, ensuring high availability and resiliency for 5G and other workloads.

The role includes troubleshooting, incident management, deployments, upgrades, and automation development using Python, Bash, Ansible, and Terraform, with collaboration across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, telecoms, engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 10+ years hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure and network operations, preferably in telecommunications or large-scale distributed environments.
• Strong Ericsson NFVI and CNIS deployment experience in production environments.

Responsibilities

• Operate, troubleshoot, and optimize Ericsson NFVI, CNIS, CEE, Kubernetes, SDN/SDI, networking, and storage platforms.
• Support CNIS data fabrics, Anycast Gateway, BGP, EVPN/VXLAN, ECMP, Clos/spine-leaf architectures, and multi-VRF environments.
• Lead complex incidents from triage through root cause analysis, permanent remediation, and post-incident reviews.
