Job summary

Power 4 All, Inc. is seeking a Technician (Solart) in the Philippines to install, maintain, and monitor solar PV systems, ensuring reliable operation for our customers.

Requirements include 1–2 years in solar PV installation or electrical maintenance, plus a certificate/associate degree in Electrical Engineering or Renewable Energy. Certification as a Solar PV Installer (e.g., TESDA NC2) is preferred. Some travel may be needed. Competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

  • Certificate or Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field.
  • 1–2 years of experience in solar PV installation or electrical maintenance.
  • Certification as a Solar PV Installer (e.g., Mechatronics, TESDA NC2).
  • Electrical installation and maintenance certification is an advantage but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with PV system monitoring software and tools.

Responsibilities

  • Install solar PV systems, including modules, racking, inverters, and monitoring equipment per standards.
  • Perform regular maintenance, inspections, and cleaning of solar panels and system components.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and mechanical issues in solar equipment.
  • Monitor performance of solar installations and report on efficiency and improvements.
  • Record data on energy production and equipment performance for maintenance planning.
  • Adhere to safety protocols while working on rooftops and confined spaces.
  • Provide clients with basic system care guidance and timely responses to inquiries.
  • Maintain detailed logs of installation and maintenance activities.
  • Conduct quality control assessments to ensure adherence to company standards.

Job description

Power 4 All, Inc. is currently looking for a Technician (Solart) to join our team. The role isresponsible for installing, maintaining andassociated equipment. This position plays a key part in ensuring solar power systems operate efficiently and reliably, contributing to our mission of providing sustainable energy solutions.

Job responsibilities

  • I nstall solar PV systems, including modules, racking, inverters, and monitoring equipment, according to industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Perform regular maintenance, inspections, and cleaning of solar panels, wiring, and system components to ensure optimal operation.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and mechanical issues in solar equipment.
  • Monitor the performance of solar installations using digital tools and provide regular reports on efficiency and potential areas for improvement.
  • Record and report data on energy production and equipment performance to identify maintenance needs and potential system upgrades.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures while working on rooftops, high elevations, and confined spaces.
  • Conduct safety checks and reading designs on all solar components and work environments to prevent accidents.
  • Provide clients with guidance on basic system care and maintenance best practices.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide support in a professional and timely manner.
  • Maintain detailed logs and records of installation and maintenance activities.
  • Conduct quality control assessments on completed installations and repairs to ensure adherence to company standards.
Whom we need for a high-performance team
  • Certificate or Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field. Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in solar PV installation or electrical systems maintenance.
  • Certification as a Solar PV Installer (e.g., Mechatronics, TESDA NC2)
  • Certification in Electrical Installation and Maintenance, Welding, Scaffolding is an advantage but not mandatory.
  • Proficiency in the use of hand and power tools used in electrical work.
  • Familiarity with PV system monitoring software and tools.
  • Strong understanding of electrical wiring, circuitry, and safety protocols.
  • Ability to clearly explain technical information to clients and team members.
  • Strong commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Full-time, with some weekends and holidays as required for project timelines.
  • Willingness to travel to different project sites as needed.
