Job summary

Western Digital in Biñan, Laguna, seeks a Technician IV, Engineering – Data Management, System Support and Troubleshooting to sustain data analytics and monitoring solutions for accurate reporting. You’ll maintain dashboards, update SAS/SQL programs, monitor data quality, and troubleshoot issues in collaboration with engineers and stakeholders.

Requires an associate or bachelor’s in electronics or IT and a minimum of 3 years’ experience in data processing, dashboards, reporting and monitoring,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or associate degree in electronics, information technology, computer technology or related field.
• At least 3 years of work experience in data processing, dashboards, reporting and monitoring.
• Experience in electronics or semiconductor manufacturing is preferred.

Job Description

Summary of the Role:

As the Technician IV, Engineering – Data Management, System Support and Troubleshooting, you will be responsible for supporting and sustaining data analytics and monitoring solutions that enable accurate, timely, and reliable business reporting. This role plays a key part in maintaining dashboards and monitoring systems, ensuring data integrity and operational visibility across critical processes. Close collaboration with engineers, process owners, and stakeholders is essential to ensure that monitoring tools and reporting systems effectively meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities and Role Accountabilities:

• Maintain and supportdashboards to ensure accurate and timely reporting.


• Update and sustain SAS and SQL programs used for data processing and reporting.


• Monitor data quality and ensure all monitoring dashboards and alerts are up to date.


• Troubleshoot and resolve data, dashboard, and system issues.


• Perform data validation and integrity checks to ensure reporting accuracy.


• Support automation and continuous improvement initiatives for monitoring and analytics solutions.


• Coordinate with engineers and stakeholders to address reporting and monitoring requirements.

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience:

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Electronics Technology,InformationTechnology, Computer Technology, Computer System Management, Information System Managementor a related field of study.


• Atleast 3yearsof workexperience in data processing, maintainingdashboards, reporting and monitoring processes.


• Industry exposure in Electronics orSemiconductorManufacturing setup is highly preferred.

Skills and Competency Requirements:

• Ability to analyse data, identify issuesand recommend solutions.


• Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.


• Ability to maintain a high level of attention to detail and ensure data accuracy and integrity.


• Ability to investigate data discrepancies and identify potential issues.
