Job summary

Microchip Technology Inc. is seeking a Calibration Engineer in the Philippines to implement calibration systems, perform MTE calibration, and ensure adherence to ISO 9001/AS9100C.

The role requires a degree in Electronics/Electrical/Mechatronics or Instrumentation & Control and at least five years of related semiconductor experience. You will maintain calibration records, investigate issues to find root causes, and coordinate with external labs as needed.

Qualifications

• Electronics or electrical/instrumentation technology or engineering degree.
• 5 years minimum related work experience in semiconductor or electronics companies.
• Calibration of Measuring and Test Equipment (MTE) per Work Instructions and General Specification.
• Understand ISO 17025 and accreditation scope for Measuring & Test instruments.

Responsibilities

• Implement Calibration System by following procedures and providing actual calibration activity.
• Calibrate Measuring and Test Equipment (MTE) to ensure suitability for use.
• Maintain day-to-day calibration records in compliance with ISO 9001/AS9100C.
• Conduct investigations on calibration issues to determine root cause of out specs.
• Travel Time: 0% - 25%
