Job summary

Microchip Technology Inc. is seeking a fresh technology graduate to support manufacturing equipment. You will verify, repair, or replace defective parts or boards, while contributing to unit objectives and maintaining quality, housekeeping and safety in your area.

You should be able to work independently or as part of a team, adapt to multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, and communicate in fluent English. Overtime may be required.

Job Description

Provide equipment support to manufacturing through verification, repair, or replacement of defective part/boards. Responsibility covers accomplishment of his business unit objectives and deliverables through efficient management of his work. He/she is accountable in maintaining outstanding quality of work, good housekeeping, and a safe workplace in his area of responsibility.

Requirements/Qualifications

• Fresh graduate of technology course
• Good technical skills and knowledge
• Basic Electronics knowledge
• Able to perform solder/de-solder
• Skilled in computer applications (e.g. MS Word, Excel, Power point)
• Ability to work as an individual and or as a team member.
• Ability to adapt successfully to multiple tasks that occur in a rapidly changing environment.
• Hard working and highly energetic and self-motivated
• Can accommodate flexible time and willingness to render overtime.
