Job summary

ams OSRAM Group in Laguna (Calamba) seeks a Technician, Failure Analysis & Reliability to execute production failure analyses, support reliability qualifications, and resolve quality issues in collaboration with internal teams. The role emphasizes problem solving and hands-on lab work within a fast-paced semiconductor environment.

The candidate will monitor lab equipment, assist with preventive maintenance, and contribute to improving field product quality by addressing failures at the source.

Qualifications

• Background in Electronics, Physics, Chemistry, Material Science or equivalent working experience in Semiconductor industry.
• Experience in Semiconductor manufacturing specifically in the field of Quality, Failure Analysis and Reliability.
• Knowledgeable in FA and/or Reliability standard equipment.
• Ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment, stays cool and works effectively and efficiently under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Execute requests falling under production fails, special FA requests, qualification failure analysis request and customer return failure analysis.
• Support lab operations for reliability qualifications, monitoring, risk assessment and special investigations for suspect materials within the accepted timeline.
• Provide quality lab operation support and work with ams osram internal organization to resolve quality issues at customer side and improve product quality in the field
• Support taskforce and quality issues internally and externally through efficient and effective problem-solving skills
• Monitor lab equipment to ensure continuous lab operation and support any lab preventive maintenance tasks
