Job summary

Red Ribbon Bakeshop, Inc. in Davao City seeks a qualified EMD Technician to install, repair, troubleshoot, and maintain production equipment, ensuring smooth operations and minimal downtime.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and 1–2 years of experience in manufacturing maintenance. On-site work with strict adherence to cGMP and HACCP; training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 1–2 years of experience in engineering and maintenance in manufacturing.
• GMP and HACCP certification or training is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of equipment maintenance, sanitation standards, and production operations.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, troubleshoot, and maintain production equipment to minimize downtime.
• Perform preventive maintenance and major repairs with supervision.
• Inspect plant equipment and auxiliaries to monitor performance and identify issues.
• Ensure equipment availability for production and advise outsourcing when necessary.
• Complete daily tasks and submit work status reports and recommendations.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper shutdown of equipment at end of shift.
• Train team members and support certification of new operators.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP, HACCP, and SOPs.

The EMD Technician is responsible for the installation, repair, troubleshooting, and maintenance of production equipment to ensure efficient plant operations and minimal downtime.

• Performs preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, major repairs, and overhauling of production machinery with guidance from the superior.
• Conducts regular inspection of plant equipment and auxiliaries to monitor performance and identify issues.
• Ensures availability of equipment for production and recommends outsourcing when necessary.
• Executes daily assigned tasks and submits accurate work status reports and recommendations.
• Maintains cleanliness and ensures proper shutdown of equipment at the end of each shift.
• Trains team members and supports certification of new employees on machine operations.
• Ensures strict compliance with cGMP, HACCP, and standard operating procedures.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• At least 1–2 years of experience in engineering and maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
• With certification or training in GMP and HACCP is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of equipment maintenance, sanitation standards, and production operations.
• Must be willing to work in Davao (Full On-site)
