Job summary

Strategem Ventures Management Inc. is seeking a diligent HVAC Technician to ensure the safe, reliable operation of building air handling and mechanical systems.

The role focuses on preventive maintenance, inspections, and efficient repair work to maintain comfort and safety in the facility. You will perform preventive maintenance on AHUs, FCUs, pumps, and ancillary equipment, troubleshoot issues, and support major repairs.

Qualifications

• Technical/Vocational Certificate or Diploma in HVAC, Refrigeration, Mechanical Technology, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in HVAC, mechanical, or building maintenance is preferred.
• Working knowledge of AHUs, FCUs, pumps, blowers, exhaust systems, and basic building mechanical services.
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and testing instruments, with knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance procedures.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and workplace safety skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance of AHUs, FCUs, pumps, blowers, exhaust systems, and other mechanical equipment.
• Inspect, clean, lubricate, adjust, troubleshoot, and carry out minor repairs on HVAC and mechanical systems.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and support major repairs, equipment breakdowns, and system restoration activities.
• Monitor equipment performance, maintain maintenance records, and report defects, abnormalities, and safety concerns.
• Coordinate with contractors, manage tools and spare parts, and ensure compliance with safety procedures and maintenance standards.
