Responsibilities
- Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnosing and repairing issues with kitchen equipment like ovens, refrigerators, dishwashers, and other appliances.
- Preventive Maintenance: Regularly inspecting and cleaning equipment, performing routine maintenance tasks, and ensuring equipment is in optimal working condition.
- Equipment Installation: Installing new kitchen equipment, including gas and electrical lines.
- Safety and Cleanliness: Ensuring the kitchen area is clean, safe, and complies with food safety regulations.
- Inventory Management: Maintaining accurate records of equipment and parts, and ordering supplies as needed.
- Coordination: Working with kitchen staff, supervisors, and potentially outside vendors to address maintenance needs.
- Emergency Repairs: Responding to urgent maintenance needs, such as equipment breakdowns during service hours.
- Record Keeping: Maintaining logs of repairs, maintenance activities, and equipment performance.
