AS White Global Pty is seeking a Student Mentor in Manila to inspire and guide students through their studies, helping them achieve certification goals and prepare for careers in tech. The role offers a hybrid setup with Australian-standard hours and opportunities for growth within a growing ed-tech organisation.

You will deliver senior support sessions, provide mentoring, and help learners reach CompTIA certifications while building job-ready confidence in a dynamic APAC network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or a relevant field (certifications a plus).
• Hands-on IT experience preferred but not mandatory.
• CompTIA certifications are a strong advantage (A+, Network+, Security+, CySA+).
• Excellent English communication and mentoring skills; experience in education/training desirable.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM data management.

Responsibilities

• Deliver senior support sessions to help students overcome challenges with course content.
• Provide one-on-one mentoring and coaching to keep students motivated and progressing.
• Guide students through course completion and support them in achieving CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, and CySA+ certifications.
• Facilitate small-group exam preparation sessions to strengthen knowledge and build exam confidence.
• Monitor student progress, identify learning gaps, and provide proactive guidance and support.
• Build strong relationships with students and provide ongoing encouragement, accountability, and career-focused support.

What You'll Do

Key Criteria

• Bachelor's degree in IT or relevant field; professional certifications are a plus.
• Hands-on IT experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• CompTIA certifications are a strong advantage, particularly A+, Network+, Security+, and/or CySA+.
• Excellent English communication and mentoring skills, with experience in education, training, teaching, or supporting learners highly desirable.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and CRM data management.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage competing priorities and urgent tasks.
• Passionate about delivering exceptional customer and student support.

Work setup

• Manila (BGC, Taguig): Australian hours (6 am-3 pm PHT) with a hybrid setup once a month.
