Technical Support Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a Technical Support Specialist to join our dynamic IT team in AMTI Manila. As a key player in our global support infrastructure, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to end-users, ensuring seamless IT operations, and contributing to the efficiency of the organization’s technology systems.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Work closely with the Global Service Desk to provide end-user support across AMTI Manila.
2. Provide comprehensive support for desktop and laptop computers, Cisco telephones, printers, and personal mobile devices (including hardware and company-approved software).
3. Respond to incidents and user requests, ensuring timely resolution and follow-up.
4. Perform hardware/software diagnosis to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
5. Manage IT asset auditing and oversee vendor management to ensure proper inventory control and compliance.
6. Perform any other IT-related duties as assigned by AMTI leadership.

Requirements:

1. Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in technical support or a related field.
2. Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with desktop/laptop troubleshooting, Cisco telephones, printers, and mobile devices.
3. Proficiency in hardware and software diagnostics and issue resolution.
4. Experience in IT asset management and familiarity with vendor management practices.
5. Ability to work effectively with global teams and provide excellent customer service.
6. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to addressing user issues.
7. Preferred but not required: Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., CompTIA A+, Cisco certifications).
8. Previous experience working in a global IT support environment.
