Job summary

Devex Incorporated in the Philippines seeks a Technical Support Group (TSG) Supervisor to oversee daily operations of the technical support team, ensuring effective delivery of technical assistance, design clarifications, and engineering support to project teams.

You will lead, coordinate between site staff, consultants, and management, review drawings, guides, and ensure documentation, quality control, and adherence to project requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a technical support team in a construction/engineering environment.
• Ability to interpret and clarify construction drawings and specs.
• Strong documentation and quality control skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the technical support team’s daily activities and assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure timely resolution of technical queries.
• Act as the escalation point for complex technical issues.
• Review and provide clarifications on construction drawings, plans, and specifications.
• Assist project engineers and site staff with technical solutions and troubleshooting.
• Coordinate with design consultants, architects, and suppliers regarding technical matters.
• Ensure proper documentation of technical queries, responses, and solutions.
• Assist in quality control inspections and monitor site implementation against approved drawings.
• Facilitate communication between project teams, clients, and consultants for technical concerns.
• Maintain records of all correspondence and technical documentation.
• Develop procedures and workflows for efficient handling of technical support requests.
• Identify recurring issues and recommend process improvements or preventive solutions.
