Job summary

Asticom Technology Inc in the Philippines seeks a Regional Field Team Leader / Technical Supervisor to lead a field-based team of technicians. You will oversee Preventive and Corrective Maintenance across telecom sites, ensuring safe, efficient, and standards-compliant work.

You will coordinate maintenance on power, HVAC, towers; mentor staff; enforce PTW, LOTO, and safety. Close collaboration with NOC, National Power Manager, and HSE to uphold uptime and service quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical engineering.
• Hands-on telecom site maintenance experience.
• 2–3 years in a team leadership or supervisory role.
• Proficient troubleshooting power and cooling systems.
• Experience with RMS alarms and CMS work orders.
• Tower climbing and working-at-height competence.
• Certifications: Tower Climbing/Rescue, Electrical Safety & LOTO, driver's license.
• Strong leadership, safety-focused mindset, and remote-site ability.

Responsibilities

JOB DESCRIPTION

Position: Regional Field Team Leader / Technical Supervisor

Department: Operations & Maintenance (OM)

Reports To: Area Manager

Location: Assigned Region (GMA / NLZ / VIS) – Field-based

1. Purpose of the Role

The Regional Field Team Leader is responsible for leading a team of field technicians to execute high-quality Preventive Maintenance (PM), Corrective Maintenance (CM), and site improvement activities across all telecom sites in the assigned region.

This hands-on leadership role ensures safe, efficient, and standardized execution of maintenance work on tower structures, power systems, HVAC, and general site infrastructure, contributing directly to regional uptime and the success of full OM custody by May 1.

2. Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership & Supervision
• Lead, supervise, and develop a team of field technicians
• Conduct daily toolbox talks, assign tasks, and monitor performance
• Perform regular field assessments and on-the-job coaching
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of new technicians
• Maintenance Execution
• Plan and execute Preventive Maintenance schedules for power systems, HVAC, tower structure, and site facilities
• Lead Corrective Maintenance activities, especially for power and cooling failures
• Ensure all work is performed according to approved SOPs and quality standards
• Perform technical troubleshooting and hands-on repairs on generators, batteries, rectifiers, HVAC units, and tower components
• Safety & Compliance
• Champion a strong safety culture and ensure 100% compliance with HSE policies
• Enforce Permit-to-Work (PTW), LOTO, and fall protection procedures
• Conduct risk assessments and report all incidents/near-misses immediately
• Maintain high standards of site housekeeping and 5S
• Documentation & Reporting
• Ensure all maintenance activities are properly logged and closed in CMS
• Submit daily/weekly progress reports to the Area Manager
• Provide accurate feedback on spares consumption and site conditions
• Support site audits and implementation of corrective actions
• Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
• Work closely with NOC for alarm response and remote diagnostics
• Coordinate with National Power Manager on technical issues
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and share best practices

QUALIFICATIONS

• Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field
• Experience:
  • With hands-on experience in telecom site maintenance
  • At least 2–3 years in a team leader or supervisory role
  • Strong practical experience with generators, batteries, rectifiers, HVAC, and tower work
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in troubleshooting power and cooling systems
  • Experience with RMS alarms and CMS work orders
  • Tower climbing and working-at-height competence
• Certifications (Preferred):
  • Tower Climbing / Rescue Certification
  • Electrical Safety & LOTO Certification
