Job summary

SMS Global Technologies Inc. is seeking a seasoned ICT security professional to deploy and maintain Thales WAF/HSM solutions, analyze security logs, and support incident triage and recovery.

You will work with internal teams and customers, document procedures, and ensure adherence to security policies and best practices while coordinating with vendors on complex issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of networking and IT infrastructure.
• Experience with Thales WAF and/or HSM installations and maintenance.
• Certification in Thales WAF/HSM or equivalent from an authorized provider.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and maintain cybersecurity tools and solutions.

Job description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Deploy, configure, and maintain cybersecurity tools and solutions.

• Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure the optimal health, availability, and performance of security tools and solutions.

• Integrate cybersecurity solutions with existing IT infrastructure and support system upgrades and enhancements.

• Analyze security logs and alerts to validate issues and assist with incident triage and investigation.

• Support containment, remediation, and recovery activities during security incidents.

• Provide technical assistance and guidance to internal teams and customers.

• Document troubleshooting procedures, configuration changes, and operational processes.

• Conduct regular health checks and ensure compliance with security policies, standards, and best practices.

• Collaborate with vendors and cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

• Perform Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) of security devices.

• Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities to enhance security operations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field.

• Strong knowledge of networking and IT infrastructure.

• At least 5 years of experience in installation, configuration, troubleshooting, maintenance, and support of Thales WAF and/or HSM.

• Valid Thales WAF/HSM certification or equivalent certification from an authorized provider.

• Experience in at least 3 similar ICT, cybersecurity, or data center projects, including 3 completed Thales WAF/HSM projects within the last 3 years.

• At least 1 project involving Thales WAF/HSM installation, configuration, or commissioning.

• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Good communication and coordination skills; customer-oriented.

• Able to work independently, manage multiple incidents based on priority/SLA, and support on-call/after-hours requirements.
