Finastra is offering a paid internship as Technical Solutions Consultant Intern – CyberSecurity. You will build core knowledge in banking solutions, work with senior team members on projects, and receive a personalized learning plan with a clear path to a future career in the company.

You will participate in trainings to improve presentation, communication, teamwork, and gain exposure to vulnerability remediation and Power BI reporting.

Qualifications

• Last-year student; majors in Computer Science, IT, Banking, Finance, or Media studies preferred.
• Good communication in English.
• Ability to handle complex topics and work independently.
• Knowledge of financial institution operations is advantageous.
• Experience with Microsoft Office.
• Proficient in using virtual meeting tools such as Microsoft TEAMS.
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Knowledge on OS administration: Windows or Linux.
• Scripting: Bash and Python/Java/JavaScript/C/C++.
• Azure operations: basic understanding.

Responsibilities

What you’ll do

Your deliverables as a Technical Solutions Consultant Intern - CyberSecurity will include the following:

• Assist in vulnerability remediation
• Coordinate vulnerability remediation with internal stakeholders
• Assist in Power BI reporting
• May perform additional duties upon request

Skills & Requirements:

• Last-year student with preferred majors in Computer Science, Information Technology, Banking, Finance, or Media studies
• Good communication skills in English

• A plus if with experience writing operation manuals or instruction guides.
