WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
We’re looking for a strategic, technically-savvy SEO Specialist to lead the development and execution of SEO strategies across multiple B2B projects. You’ll be responsible for identifying opportunities, building roadmaps, and working cross-functionally to improve site visibility, performance, and search rankings. From site audits to technical fixes and keyword targeting, you’ll guide both the high-level direction and the day-to-day execution of our SEO efforts. You’ll collaborate closely with our web and content teams, but own the SEO strategy end to end. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on data, takes initiative, and understands what it takes to drive sustainable organic growth, especially in the B2B e-commerce, accounting, and Amazon brand space.
Key Responsibilities:
SEO Strategy & Technical Optimization:
- Lead the SEO strategy across multiple B2B client projects with a focus on long-term, scalable growth
- Conduct technical SEO audits to identify crawl issues, indexing problems, broken links, site speed, and other performance gaps
- Optimize on-page elements including metadata, structured data/schema, internal linking, and page hierarchy
- Define and implement technical SEO best practices across all new and existing websites
Keyword & Competitive Analysis:
- Conduct keyword research using tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Ubersuggest to support strategic content planning
- Monitor competitors' SEO performance to uncover gaps and opportunities
- Build keyword maps to guide site structure, content prioritization, and performance targeting
Collaboration with Web & Content Teams:
- Work closely with writers and developers to ensure SEO best practices are applied from planning to publishing
- Provide strategic SEO input for landing pages, blog content, and category/product pages
- Guide internal linking structure and content hierarchy for optimal SEO outcomes
Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
- Set up and manage tools like Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and Ahrefs
- Monitor keyword rankings, organic traffic, crawl health, and site performance
- Translate performance data into actionable insights and ongoing improvements
Documentation & Process Development:
- Develop and maintain internal SEO SOPs, optimization templates, and QA checklists
- Train and support team members on SEO fundamentals and evolving best practices
- Recommend tools and workflow improvements to streamline SEO execution
Exploration: AI Search & Answer Engine Optimization (AEO):
- We’re starting to explore how tools like ChatGPT, Google SGE, and Perplexity are reshaping how people discover content
- This isn’t a formal part of the role yet, but we’re looking for someone who’s curious and open to experimenting with strategies that improve visibility in AI-driven search experiences
- You’ll have the opportunity to test, learn, and help us shape how we adapt our SEO approach as this space evolves
Am I qualified for the position?
We don’t believe in a strict list of “qualifications”. We care more about the passion for the industry and role, the grit you have to learn new challenges, and your ability to work well with others!
Here are some general guidelines of what we’re looking for:
- 5–7+ years in SEO, with at least 3+ years focused on technical and strategic SEO
- Proven ability to conduct in-depth site audits and implement scalable on-page and technical SEO improvements
- Deep understanding of crawlability, indexation, site architecture, and page performance factors
- Strong grasp of keyword strategy, competitive analysis, and evolving SERP behavior
- Proficient with tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, and Ubersuggest
- Comfortable working within CMS platforms like WordPress, Webflow, or Shopify
- Able to interpret SEO data and translate it into clear, actionable recommendations
- Familiar with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Jasper, Frase) and curious about how AI search impacts visibility and content strategy
- Up to date on Google algorithm updates, technical ranking factors, and SEO best practices
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally with web, content, and strategy teams
- Self-starter who takes initiative and ownership of SEO performance across multiple projects
- Bonus: Interest or experience in Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) or AI-driven search tools
- Bonus: Background in B2B industries like e-commerce, accounting, or Amazon
What’s the pay?
The compensation starts at Php 30,000 - Php 40,000 and is commensurate and negotiable based on experience.
Work Hours:
- Monday to Friday: Must be available to work from Fixed (9AM - 1PM EST), 20 hours a week.
