Job Description
Overview

Our client designs, develops, manufactures, and markets analytical solutions, including reagent tests and analytical instrumentation for in vitro diagnostic (IVD) laboratories and industrial applications. Their goal is to improve health and well-being worldwide.

The Technical Sales Specialist will develop sustainable businesses within the In Vitro Diagnostic sector, targeting hospital laboratories, clinical laboratories, infirmaries, OFW clinics, and blood collection facilities in your area. Responsibilities include business development and enhancing customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  1. Achieve assigned sales targets (monthly and annually).
  2. Create and submit monthly itinerary (IT) and weekly plans aligned with business objectives; prepare post-call reports after each visit. Submit monthly IT and daily call reports for reimbursement to District Managers.
  3. Execute value propositions to generate new account opportunities.
  4. Share product and service information effectively with distributors and end-users.
  5. Build and nurture a strong direct customer base while expanding existing networks.
  6. Maintain excellent relationships with customers, providing solutions to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
  7. Address customer calibration, control, and reagent concerns according to Westgard Multi Rule.
  8. Provide tailored services and individual attention to meet customer needs.
  9. Conduct product demonstrations and offer clear technical explanations.
  10. Deliver training sessions and updates on products to customers.
  11. Prepare reports on customer interactions, including identifying potential clients, daily call reports, funnel management, quarterly sales forecasts, and monthly performance reports.
  12. Collaborate with finance and AR specialists to monitor and follow up on receivables.
  13. Perform ad hoc technical tasks such as troubleshooting and installations.
Requirements
  • Graduate of Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology, Medical Science, or related fields.
  • Preferably 1-2 years of professional experience in the IVD field, laboratory, diagnostics, or related industry.
  • Sales experience is a plus but not mandatory; laboratory experience and willingness to pursue sales are essential.
  • Proficient in MS Excel.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to perform fieldwork within the region and visit the Manila office quarterly for sales meetings.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
