Job summary

AboitizPower is seeking a Technical Safety Lead to ensure safe design, operation, and maintenance of equipment across TBG sites. You will govern safety-critical systems and embed process safety and asset integrity principles throughout the plant lifecycle.

You will develop, implement, and govern Process Safety Management systems, support operations excellence transformation, and contribute to the OSS corporate roadmap across the fleet.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years in Operations/Process Safety or Technical Safety.
• 5 years’ experience as a Process Engineer or an Operations Engineer.
• 3–5 years in Plant Operations, preferably Thermal.

Responsibilities

• Govern safety-critical equipment integrity and process safety standards.
• Tag SCEs in CMMS (SAP/Maximo) and monitor performance.
• Develop KPIs for asset integrity and reliability.
• Lead safety audits, gap assessments, and corrective actions.
• Develop barrier/bowtie risk models for high-risk scenarios.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and safe design/operation.
