Job summary

HSBC is seeking an experienced Technical Manager - Private Equity in the Philippines to lead operations and drive efficient processing across a team servicing multiple Onshore locations. You will ensure compliance with policies, train staff, and foster open communication to support growth.

The role requires Private Equity product knowledge, banking industry understanding, and strong stakeholder relationships, including familiarity with the Avaloq system.

Qualifications

• Experience in handling Private Equity across products and entities.
• Knowledge of Funds’ products, Private Equity and related concepts.
• Knowledge of the banking industry.
• Ability to build relationships with key interfaces and stakeholders.
• Knowledge on the Core Private Banking System (Avaloq).

• Communicate to employees all required information to allow each function within the team to work efficiently.
• Ensure all rules and procedures are strictly applied by each team member.
• Provide required training to each employee and ensure people are well motivated to perform their day-to-day tasks and progress within the organization.
• Establish trustful relationship based on honest and open two way communication.
• Maintain a working environment adapted to employees’ needs ensuring a safe and functional environment in compliance with corporate rules.
• Leading a team servicing multiple Onshore locations.
• Ensuring policies & procedures are followed and managing risk within the process.
• Driving change initiates to ensure the process is as automated as possible.

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Experience in handling Private Equity across products, and entities.
• Sound knowledge of Funds’ products, Private Equity and related concepts.
• Knowledge of the banking industry.
• Able to create relationships and channels of communication with key interfaces and stakeholders.
• Knowledge on the Core Private Banking System (Avaloq).

Candidate with less relevant experience or skills may be offered a lower Global Career Band than stated above.
