Job summary

SIM Computer Sales Incorporated is seeking a skilled Technical Engineer - Structured Cabling to design, implement, test, and maintain advanced cabling systems across voice, data, CCTV, access control, Wi‑Fi and other low‑voltage networks in Metro Manila.

The ideal candidate holds a relevant engineering degree and has at least 3 years of hands-on structured cabling experience, with strong problem‑solving, communication, and project coordination abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related technical field.
• Minimum of 3 years of hands‑on experience in structured cabling systems installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of structured cabling standards.
• Experience with copper (Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A) and fiber optic cabling, including termination, splicing, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with patch panels, racks, switches, and cable management systems.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, floor plans, single-line diagrams, and structured cabling layouts.
• Experience coordinating with clients, contractors, and project teams during installation and project implementation.
• Knowledge of safety standards and construction site protocols.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet project deadlines.
• Willing to travel to project sites and work extended hours when required.

Responsibilities
