Job summary

Palmax Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Technical Designer to translate concepts into precise 2D/3D CAD drawings and specifications for modular cabinets and furniture designs.

This role ensures accurate, production-ready documentation to support manufacturing. You will collaborate with design and engineering teams, communicate clear technical requirements to suppliers, assess manufacturability, and participate in design reviews to optimize for cost efficiency and durability throughout the product

• Conduct feasibility studies to assess manufacturability and functionality
• Communicate technical requirements to suppliers and manufacturers; resolve design issues
• Participate in design reviews and optimize designs for production efficiency and cost
• Collaborate with QA to develop testing procedures for durability and functionality

About the role

As a Technical Designer, you will play a crucial role in our product development process by creating detailed and accurate technical drawings and specifications for our modular cabinets and furniture designs. Your ability to translate conceptual designs into precise drawings will be essential to ensure the successful production of our products.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Head Technical Designer


• Collaborate closely with the design and engineering teams to understand project requirements and translate them into technical drawings and specifications


• Create accurate and detailed 2D and 3D models of furniture designs using computer-aided design (CAD) software


• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations throughout the design and development process


• Conduct feasibility studies to assess the manufacturability and functionality of furniture designs


• Work closely with suppliers and manufacturers to communicate technical requirements and resolve any design-related issues


• Participate in design reviews and provide technical expertise to optimize the design for production efficiency and cost-effectiveness


• Collaborate with the quality assurance team to develop and implement testing procedures to ensure the durability and functionality of the final products
