Job summary

Merck Group in Taguig is seeking an HR Operations Manager to lead a team delivering efficient, KPI-driven administration services. You will manage performance reviews, drive continuous improvement, and collaborate with MSPs and stakeholders globally.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 3–5 years in HR operations or generalist work within shared services or BPO. Flexibility and cross-cultural collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with HR systems such as LMS, SAP SuccessFactors, etc.
• Strong leadership, problem solving, analytics, and stakeholder skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team to deliver efficient, accurate admin services per KPIs/SLAs.
• Track service delivery and report against KPIs/SLAs with leadership.
• Direct talent management and performance review cycles for the team.
• Drive continuous improvement and provide constructive feedback.
• Plan strategically to partner with MSPs and stakeholders.
• Support Learning & Development operations in talent & development cycles.
• Ensure confidential handling of HR data and sensitive information.
• Collaborate across levels and teams to meet objectives.
• Perform related tasks as assigned.

Your Role

• Manage the team to deliver efficient, accurate, timely administration services as per agreed KPIs and SLAs.
• Track and measure service delivery as agreed with the Shared Services Leadership Team against KPIs and SLAs.
• Actively work to achieve the agreed identified performance objectives in alignment with the Shared Services Leadership Team. (Individual 20%; Management 80%)
• Manage team (Talent Management and Performance Review cycles) and applies operational or strategic management and leadership skills
• Encourage the team to seek opportunities for continuous improvement and provide constructive feedback
• Develop and manage performance of reporting staff
• Engage in strategic planning to maintain and develop partnerships with MSPs and stakeholders.
• Support the Learning & Development Operations Manager in Talent Management and Performance & Development Review cycles.
• Follows standard evaluation and measurement process/protocol to assess comprehension and adoption of knowledge to ensure successful job readiness transition.
• Collaborate with different levels and teams in the organization
• Ensure that all HR personnel data and sensitive information are kept confidential
• Performs other related tasks that might be assigned.

Strategic Impact

• Ensure that the team delivers learning and development support in accordance with agreed KPIs and SLAs.
• Ensure that all expectations of Key Stakeholders are being met and address issues/concerns as necessary.

Who You Are

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Behavioral Science, Social Sciences, Business Administration or any equivalent degree.
• Preferably 3 to 5 Years minimum professional/managerial experience specializing in an HR Operations or HR Generalist function from a Shared Services or BPO organization.
• Understanding and experience in the use of HR systems and tools (i.e. Learning Management Systems, SAP P40, Success Factors, etc.).
• Understanding and experience in the use of Case Management systems and tools (i.e. Service Now, Neocase, etc.).
• Strong leadership skills
