Chevron Philippines Incorporated (CPI) seeks a Team Lead - Accounts Payable to oversee accounting services and processes in the Makati office. The role requires strong leadership, deep accounting knowledge and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams.

The successful candidate will join a multinational energy company with a focus on reliable financial operations, talent development and a hybrid work arrangement in a modern workplace.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or management accounting or related field.
• Minimum ten (10) years of work experience in finance, accounting or auditing.
• Proven experience supervising staff and managing processes.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Amenable to rotating day/night shifts for 6 months with AP Leadership Team.

About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Team Lead - Accounts Payable. This role will be based in 6750 Building, Makati City, Philippines.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following

• Manages the company's accounting services and processes. This Job Category includes accounting positions embedded in BUs, in Corporate Departments, and GBS Finance.
• Manages group and employee work to align with corporate/department objectives. Direct reports are typically individual contributors.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or management accounting or related course
• Minimum of ten (10) years overall work experience in finance, accounting or auditing.
• Proven experience supervising staff and managing processes
• Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
• Strong analytical, teamwork and stakeholder engagement skills
• Amenable to work for the first 6 months on a rotation of day and night shifts to build working relationship with Senior AP Manager and the rest of the AP Leadership Team.
