Atlas Copco Philippines Inc. is seeking a proactive Tax Team Leader to ensure full compliance with local tax laws and regulatory reporting. You will oversee daily tax compliance activities, manage VAT claims, and coordinate with external consultants on audits.

You will act as a liaison for tax matters, guide the Treasury Officer, and collaborate with Finance and Shared Services to implement tax strategies and processes.

Qualifications

• CPA is advantageous.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in tax compliance, accounting, or finance.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine tax laws, including VAT, withholding taxes, and corporate income tax.
• Experience coordinating tax audits and working with tax authorities and external consultants.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with external tax consultants on preparation, review, and timely filing of all tax returns (income tax, VAT, withholding taxes).
• Maintain, reconcile, and review tax-related accounts and schedules for audit readiness.
• Manage local tax obligations, including municipal taxes and head office/branch requirements.
• Support regulatory filings such as SEC Audited Financial Statements (AFS) and GIS.
• Oversee VAT claims and refund applications and coordinate tax audits with external advisors.
• Support tax initiatives like e-invoicing, transfer pricing documentation, and health checks.
• Provide guidance on tax implications of routine business transactions and contracts.
• Monitor changes in tax laws and communicate updates to the Finance team.
• Collaborate with Finance, Credit & Collection, Operations, and Shared Services on tax compliance.
• Promote internal knowledge sharing on tax processes and controls.
