Job summary

A leading global material handling company in Muntinlupa is seeking an experienced professional for tax-related accounting roles. Responsibilities include preparing tax returns, maintaining tax accounts, and supporting the finance team. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, experience in general accounting, and preferably a CPA certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years work experience related to general accounting.
• Experience with tax returns and compliance is essential.
• Familiarity with ISO 14001 & 45001 standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and file annual and quarterly tax returns.
• Maintain and reconcile tax balance to tax GL accounts.
• Support finance team with ad-hoc tasks.

Job Description

The roles of the position are the following:

• Prepare and file the tax returns that include but not limited to:
• Annual and Quarterly Income Tax Return
• Quarterly VAT
• Monthly Tax filing
• All related and relevant tax filing

The key responsibilities also include:

• Maintain and reconcile tax balance to tax GL accounts
• Prepare and maintain accounting entries related to tax
• Handle and reconcile tax audit assessments
• Review, study and share all relevant tax memorandum issuance and assists all relevant personnel in the implementation
• Provide support and assistance to the team related to tax concerns
• Support the finance team in handling ad-hoc tasks

Awareness of ISO 14001 & 45001 standards is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, CPA Preferred
• Minimum of 3 years work experience related to general accounting, with ERP and SAP Background an advantage
