Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience in tax, accounting, or finance.
• Hands-on experience in tax compliance is required.
• Experience with BIR tax filing and Philippine tax regulations is highly preferred.
• Payroll experience is an advantage.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Organized, dependable, and able to meet deadlines.
• Good analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and filing of BIR tax returns and other tax compliance requirements
• Prepare tax schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documents
• Monitor tax deadlines and ensure timely submission of requirements
• Assist with payroll processing, including payroll reports, deductions, and statutory contributions
• Assist in recording and monitoring financial transactions
• Perform bank and account reconciliations
• Maintain accurate and organized accounting and financial records
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
• Support tax audits and other government compliance requirements
• Perform other finance and accounting duties as assigned
