B. Braun Melsungen AG Philippines is seeking a Manager for Tax and Third Party Payable to lead tax compliance and payable operations, reporting to the CFO, and driving risk management and process improvements.

The role supervises a team, collaborates with cross‑functional teams, supports audits, and develops tax strategies while ensuring accurate financial reporting. This position follows a hybrid work model with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and CPA certification.
• 8+ years of finance experience, including 6+ years in tax accounting and 2+ years in accounts payable or general accounting.
• Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations at local, regional, and national levels.
• Proficiency with tax software, Excel, and ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Oversee tax compliance activities including preparation and filing of tax returns, payments, and reconciliations; respond to tax notices and manage assessments.
• Participate in risk assessments, planning, and tax-saving strategies; serve as main point of contact for escalations and management reporting.
• Support internal and external audits; prepare schedules, reconciliations, and disclosures; ensure timely financial reporting.
• Conduct tax research on changes in regulations; draft memoranda and management recommendations.
• Oversee third-party payables; implement best practices and SOPs; collaborate on system improvements.

Position Summary

As the Manager for Tax and Third Party Payable, you will oversee tax compliance activities and accounts payable operations. Reporting to the CFO, you will play a key role in managing risk, supporting audits, and ensuring the financial health of the company. You will also lead a team of accounting professionals, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and drive process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Tax Compliance — Supervise preparation and filing of tax returns, payments, and reconciliations; draft responses to tax notices; manage tax assessments with BIR auditors.
• Strategic Planning — Participate in risk assessments, planning, and tax‑saving strategies; serve as the main point of contact for escalations and management reporting.
• Audit & Reporting — Support internal and external audits; prepare schedules, reconciliations, and disclosures; ensure timely submission of financial reports.
• Tax Research — Monitor changes in tax laws; conduct research on new regulations; prepare memoranda and recommendations for management.
• Third Party Payables — Oversee payable processing; implement best practices and SOPs; collaborate on system enhancements and improvements.
• Process Improvement — Identify areas for control enhancements; support month‑end and year‑end close; contribute to e‑Invoicing initiatives and system updates.
• Stakeholder Collaboration — Work with CFO, regional finance, shared services, and external advisors; maintain strong relationships with BIR, auditors, and legal teams.
• People Management — Lead and develop a team of accounting professionals; foster a collaborative and positive work environment.

Requirements

• Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and be a CPA.
• Minimum 8 years of finance experience, including 6 years in tax accounting and 2+ years in general accounting/accounts payable.
• Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations at federal, state, and local levels.
• Proficiency in tax software, Microsoft Excel, and ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience in tax assessments, BIR audits, and computerized accounting system updates.
• Project management skills preferred; ability to deliver excellent work with minimal supervision.
• Experience working in audit firms and maintaining strong relationships with BIR.
