The candidate will monitor deadlines, prepare schedules, and coordinate audits with external advisers while ensuring adherence to Philippine tax regulations and corporate records maintenance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accountancy, taxation, legal management, or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in tax compliance and regulatory matters.
• Experience with BIR filings, VAT, withholding tax, tax audits/assessments.
• Experience handling contracts, permits, licenses, and regulatory docs.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine tax laws and FMCG tax requirements.
• Proficient in MS Office/Excel and coordinating with agencies and teams.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple compliance deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage timely and accurate preparation, filing, and payment of tax returns.
• Ensure compliance with tax laws, BIR regulations, and gov’t requirements.
• Monitor tax deadlines, registrations, certificates, and compliance activities.
• Prepare tax schedules, reconciliations, supporting docs, and compliance records.
• Coordinate BIR audits, tax assessments, inquiries, and government requirements.
• Monitor changes in tax laws and assess impact on the company.
• Maintain legal documents, contracts, permits, licenses, and corporate records.
• Coordinate with external counsel, tax advisors, and government agencies.
• Monitor legal/regulatory compliance and timely action completion.
• Identify and elevate tax exposures and compliance risks to management.
