Job summary

John Clements Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Tax Manager to lead local tax compliance, audits, and regulatory interactions. You will oversee junior staff, ensure accurate tax filings, and coordinate with legal and secretarial teams for contracts and renewals.

The role emphasizes advisory support on evolving tax laws, with onsite work from Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm. Prior supervisory experience will be advantageous for this position.

Qualifications

• BS Accountancy or related course.
• At least 4 years of relevant experience.
• Willing to work onsite Mon-Fri (8am to 5pm).
• Experience in a supervisory role is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Tax compliance and filing of VAT, withholding, and income taxes with timely submission to BIR.
• Audit and notice management with handling of regulatory responses (BIR, LGU, SEC).
• Coordinate with corporate secretaries and external counsel for contracts and renewals.
• Supervise junior tax staff, review computations, and improve processes.
• Provide advisory interpretations of changing tax laws to internal teams or clients.
