Job summary

Satellite Office in the Philippines is seeking an experienced finance professional to support tax and regulatory compliance. You will follow processes to complete compliance obligations and provide general support to the finance manager and team.

Key duties include preparing tax returns, assisting with regulator filings (PEZA, BOI, SEC), renewing business permits, and enabling accurate month-end close with schedules.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an accounting related role.
• Experience in any audit firm is preferred.
• Excellent knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Ensures accurate and timely filing of all corporate monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns, as well as supporting schedules and alpha-lists/reliefs, including VAT, withholding tax, income tax, final tax, DST and other tax returns.
• Provide assistance to the Finance Manager, Tax and Compliance Manager, and Finance Director to ensure timely filing of any reportorial requirements with PEZA, BOI, SEC, and other regulators.
• Provide assistance and act as liaison for the renewal of business permits.
• Assist in the preparation of the Company's books of accounts to be filed with the BIR.
• Prepare any financial statement schedules supporting the month-end close.
• Assistance with any other ad-hoc tasks within the Finance Department.
