Job summary

AP Cargo is seeking a detail-oriented Finance professional in Metro Manila to prepare and consolidate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and tax reports in line with BIR requirements. You will ensure accuracy of filings, reviewing journals and invoices, and coordinating with Sales and Payables for precise financial reporting.

The role requires 3–5 years in financial reporting, strong BIR knowledge, Excel skills, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA is an advantage.
• 3–5 years of experience in financial reporting, accounting, and tax compliance; supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of BIR tax compliance, VAT, withholding taxes, and financial reporting requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems; strong reconciliation and analysis skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized, able to manage multiple deadlines with cross-department coordination.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and consolidate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and tax reports including BIR requirements.
• Ensure accuracy of tax filings, accounting records, Trial Balance, and Book of Accounts per BIR rules.
• Review entries, vouchers, payables, invoices for proper recording and accuracy.
• Coordinate with Sales, Payables, and other departments to reconcile revenues and expenses.
• Monitor tax transactions, fixed assets, prepayments, and support audits.
